Washington, D.C.: Montana has become the latest state to prevent individuals from changing the sex designation on their birth certificates according to how they currently identify. They are only the fourth state to do so, joining Tennessee, West Virginia, and Oklahoma.
“Good for the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services,” said Phyllis Schlafly Eagles President Ed Martin. “They are sticking to their guns and keeping biology and science at the center of their work.”
Montana DPHHS made sure to include Dr. Fauci’s National Institutes of Health’s definition, which (miraculously) still explains that that “sex” is a biological classification encoded into our DNA — everyone’s body down to their cells is either mail or female. Not many government agencies are willing any longer to differentiate “sex” from the woke constructs running rampant through society.
“Not only are Montana bureaucrats throwing some shade back at the wokesters in D.C., but they have issued this new rule in direct response to an activist Montana judge who is out to overturn state law. I say good for them and Godspeed in their work. This is the kind of leadership that is needed in our states, to stand against not only federal intrusion and activist judges, but the fringe whims of some in society.”
Montana State Eagle Leader Eric Olsen, who works closely with state legislators and office holders, added: “You can bet progressive leaders will fight this any way they can! We must have a solid conservative legislature and a governor next year that will sign good bills and defend our state laws.”
