President Katalin Novák Is a Staunch Proponent of Strong Nuclear Families
Washington, D.C.: “Finally, some good news out of Europe!” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “The Republic of Hungary has elected Katalin Novák as their new president. She is a fierce advocate for the traditional nuclear family and the right to life! As her nation’s former Minister for Families, she was at the center of Hungary’s leadership on pro-family policies. Their success is not only a model for Europe but also for America, as conservatives fight to implement laws here that will end the tragedy of abortion and strengthen the family unit.
“Phyllis Schlafly Eagles has maintained strong ties to these Hungarian leaders implementing family-first government. I first connected with then-Minister Novák at the World Congress of Families in 2019 and we stayed in touch since then. We have also twice hosted former Hungarian Ambassador to the United States László Szabó (2017-2020) at our Eagle events.
“Hungary is proof that national-level policies supporting life and the family can see great success. American conservatives should take heart and follow the lead of our own fighters for the family! Now is the time to support bold state governments as they step up to halt the destruction of the family unit through our educational and civic institutions!”
