Candidate Donald Trump’s rallying cry to “Drain the Swamp” resonated so well with grassroots Americans because the Washington, D.C. ecosystem is not conducive to governance by, for, and of the people as our Founding Fathers intended. If we want to reclaim our government, we have to start by understanding the tactics that the Swamp employs. A classic example of these tactics comes from a collection of documents the U.S. Department of Education circulated which they called a toolkit for “Creating Inclusive and Nondiscriminatory School Environments for LGBTQI+ Students.” Let’s examine these documents to see what Swamp tactics we can spot in action.
The first Swamp tactic used is the appeal to science. The toolkit makes the bold claim that, “All young people do better in LGBTQ-inclusive schools,” even going so far as to say “LGBTQ-supportive school policies and practices also benefit heterosexual students. They may experience even greater health benefits than LGTBQ students do.” These laughable claims are backed by a study conducted under the banner of the Centers for Disease Control in 2022. In reality, sexually transmitted diseases are highly concentrated among active homosexuals. Encouraging young people to engage in homosexual activity puts everyone at increased risk. Only a Swampy bureaucracy like the CDC would claim otherwise, and they rely academic credentials to validate their activism.
Another Swamp tactic being used in this toolkit is the threat of prosecution. As J6 defendants will readily testify, the pockets of the Swamp are deep. It is no surprise that a toolkit claiming to be about “creating inclusive and nondiscriminatory environments” would also include a “Hate Crime Threat Guide” from the FBI with handy contact information to the various FBI field offices so that parents and students who stand against LGBT indoctrination can be reported to federal law enforcement.
The Swamp is playing a high-stakes game, and it is imperative that we understand their tactics. Beware the appeal to science and the threat of prosecution. These are just a few tools the Swamp deploys against conservatives.
