Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices Clears Way For Mandatory Covid Vaccinations for Children
Washington, D.C.: “The immunization advisory committee of the CDC formally adopted a new vaccination schedule for kids and adults this week by unanimous vote,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Starting in 2023, the CDC will shockingly recommend the first dose of Covid 19 vaccination at 6 months old. What’s even more disturbing and vile, however, is that while not a ‘requirement’ itself, this recommendation has absolutely green lighted schools and other facilities to require the Covid vaccine in kids just like they do any other common childhood immunizations.
“This move is appalling, though not surprising, as the CDC moves to cover up it’s hyper-partisan tracks of the last two years. They’ve revealed themselves as political hacks rather than medical experts, and it’s something that every American needs to understand.
“Even more pressing now is the understanding of what we must now do! We are going to have to pursue the policymakers at every state and local level and ensure they don’t bow to the pressure to add a kids’ Covid shot to their list of requirements. This battle at the CDC ‘recommendation’ level may be over, but the real fight over regulations, requirements, and rules is just beginning. Now is the time for parents and communities to make themselves heard.”
