Women’s College Swimming Crowned an Un-Spectacular Male Swimmer as Champion
Washington, D.C.: “The National Collegiate Athletic Association is openly mocking womanhood and the amazing achievements of authentic female athletes,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Their crowning of a young gender-confused man last week as the winner of the women’s 500-yard freestyle is the pinnacle of disrespect for women’s sports. It is particularly offensive to the young women standing below him on the podium, including the second-place finalist [read: true champion] who is an Olympic medalist.
“Opposition to this insanity isn’t a party line issue! Several groups of liberal feminists showed up at the NCAA events to protest this attack on women’s achievement. They recognize that women are being disenfranchised by the radical leftist media and Democrat Party.
“We must fight the narrative that demands we accept this as normal! It’s not. It’s not natural, and it’s not right. In fact it’s more than just crazy, it’s truly immoral. Cheating is and always has been immoral in our culture. We cannot give second-rate men a pass to victory by stepping on every incredibly talented woman along the way. It’s a national embarrassment, and an assault on womanhood itself.”
