The following is a transcript from the Pro America Report.
Welcome, Welcome, welcome. It’s Ed Martin here on the Pro America Report and it is heading into the weekend. I hope you have a great weekend, everybody. And I hope you have a great chance seeing these in these weeks at the end of the summer, lots of folks are getting in there last Licks, as we used to say, in baseball, you get your last licks, you get the bottom of the 7th when you’re playing Little League, bottom of the ninth if you’re playing. After that and I hope you get your last licks on the summer, you know whether it’s Ice cream cone Licks or baseball licks, or whatever it is. But hope summer finishes out strong.
Alright, we have some great guests. We’ll talk in. A few moments. We’ve got an update from John Schlafly and we also will visit with Scott Walter, who is a very cool dude. He’s at the Capital Research Center, the tagline for them is America’s investigative think tank, and it’s fantastic. He’s a super guy. We’ll talk with him, get an update from him some of what he’s seeing and hearing.

I don’t know what to say about this next story. I don’t know what to think about it. I just can’t tell you how frustrating it is. In the coverage of Friday’s hearings, and there’s lots of things to cover and lots of things to talk about in terms of what was going on in court. It was Donald Trump’s lawyers in court going talking about the case. The January 6th case and. The the the. Back and forth had lots of stuff, OK? And and you can get to the lots of stuff. I’ll let you do it another time. What I want to tell you about is and point you towards is the situation that Kyle Cheney and Kyle Cheney is a guy who is a reporter. Long time around the place. He’s at Politico right now and his his tagline. On his Twitter feed is senior legal affairs reporter for Politico, with a focus on 1/6 aftermath. That’s serious. Whoa, that’s big. That’s a big deal. He’s focused well,
The Coverage he was live tweeting the coverage, I guess I don’t know if he was in the room or if he was able to be in the when you’re in the courthouse in DC in Washington, DC, the federal courthouse, they do have an area where the press can be in the building in a separate area, a separate room, like a few rooms away. And I think they might stream the audio into that. Room, but they don’t do it live to the public. I don’t think maybe they do. They certainly don’t do cameras. But anyway, here’s Kyle Cheney at Kyle, DC excuse me at Kyle D Cheney. And he’s tweeting and he Tweets this: Notable Wyndham prosecutor says quote there are nonpublic items that the January 6th Select Committee has presided, provided to the government. That includes some transcripts that are not public, he says.
What’s that? What is that? What that means is an admission in court that the Department of Justice Has been given Stuff that is not available to the public.
And given from whom? The Select Committee.
So in the last two days, we know that the Select Committee on January 6th, the Pelosi Select Committee on January 6th, chaired by Benny Thompson and Liz Cheney, which was doing show trials and a a report that doesn’t even mention the pipe bomber until page 706. That same Select Committee and in the last two days it has been revealed that the Select Committee has been destroying the evidence that it gathered. It has been it used the videos to create these these one sided propaganda propaganda made for TV hearings. Then it deleted the videos and. Other documents are missing, so now we know. Not from what the Select Committee said.
The Select Committee, the Pelosi Select Committee on January 6th did not announce as part of their report. We shared a bunch of stuff with the DOJ, which is a separate branch. Understand, right? We’re talking about branches of the government. Usually they’re very proprietary. And so if they gave something to the other. Branch, they tell someone, probably in the report, saying we shared this or we asked them to verify this. All we now know. From court. Is that the prosecutors saying Yeah, we got a bunch of stuff from Pelosi and Cheney. And nobody else knew that.
And here’s where it gets ridiculous. If you’re the sitting House right now, you’re the ones in charge of that House. That branch of government. And you have no way to know where the rest of the stuff went, because the Select Committee, the Pelosi Select Committee, shut it down, deleted the files, and then moved on and didn’t leave any trail. The only trail they left was the report and the hundreds of hours of of television that they did.
So if you’re the current Republicans in the House and you say, well, let’s find out who they shared it with, you have no one to ask. Who do you ask? Did they share it with the attorneys general n states? Did they share it with the District Attorney in in certain counties and cities? Did they share it with the federal bureaucracies of other agencies? We don’t have any idea. But we know that the prosecutor has said quote, there are non public items of the Pelosi Select Committee that have been provided to the government.
So now we have more proof. That the government, the federal executive branch. Biden was colluding. With Pelosi and the and the and the legislative branch, because there’s nothing that could have been shared after December 31st, 2022, because that committee went out of business. So it wasn’t before. I meant before that. Excuse me after that so that it had to be during the Pelosi era when they gave stuff over to Biden, to the administration.
And again, you talk about colluding, talk about overusing power, talk about working together. Did the I I have argued that the the Pelosi Select Committee with Benny Thompson and Liz Cheney was the single power, single most powerful force at corrupting at corrupting the DC jury pool. Because in DC I’m here, I live in the swamp and I live in the swamp. I live near the swamp and I work in the swamp.
In DC you couldn’t go. You can’t go past the news or a newspaper. The Washington Post. Anything else without hearing and feeling that it was an insurrection and it was aimed at the, you know, that was aimed at the government here. It’s way overplayed. In real America, you’re like, what was that? It looked like a riot with some real weirdos, some real people that got out of hand. But here in the swamp you you have been conditioned to think that this is something really bad, really bad.
And my point on this is, do you really believe? Do you really believe? That this is not now. A collusion. A A conspiracy? How could it not be? They’ve now admitted it. They’ve admitted that they shared everything. They’ve admitted that that was the plan. They’ve admitted that they were doing this together. I mean, at a certain point. You have to be you have to be willfully Suspending belief just to get past the the the point of of seeing what’s going on. So that’s what was happening now. I talked to somebody up on Capitol Hill and that works for one of the congressmen in the in the House, in the House and the majority, he said we have no idea what they’re talking about now. We had no idea this was going to come out. They had no idea they had No idea. And you know why?
Because if you go down the hall. You knock on the door, you say the Pelosi Select Committee. This is where they used to meet, anybody in here? It’s empty. So they they rolled up the carpet, they they they deleted the files and they moved on. You can’t even ask. You can’t even ask. Think about the lack of accountability. The lack of accountability. You can’t even ask who’s got these documents. You can’t even ask why they were deleted. What did they get? Did the Department of Justice get the, or did the government? It’s just the government, they say.
Did they get the documents from the depositions that were deleted? The files? Did they get those? We don’t know. And we’ll never know how. How do you go about piecing this back together? And here’s again it it gets to layer after layer if you and and Pelosi used to brag about this, she called it the wrap around smear. You say something, then you get the press to cover it, and then you get to talk about what the press has covered. In this case, you say it’s an insurrection. Then you use government to quote, UN quote, investigate. You throw out the stuff you don’t like, you destroy the rest of the stuff. And then everybody says, look, it was an insurrection.
This is an abuse of we the people, it’s an abuse, it’s an abuse of power. That’s clear. It’s an abuse of power, and if if these were serious leaders who believed in their separation of powers, they wouldn’t want to blur these lines like this. But they’re not. They’re only about power, not about the Constitution, not about the rule of law. It’s about pure power, and it’s about control, and it’s about dominating. And it’s not dominating their foreign adversaries or foreign rivals. It’s about you and me. And the fact that they have no time, they have no time for us and they need to make sure that we’re stopped. And so they’ll do anything they want. They’ll break every norm, and they won’t even look at you funny. Director Wray will lie to the the the Congress and say, oh, no, it’s just one field office that’s that’s targeted Catholics and he knows it was 3, 4, 5, 6. We’ll find out It’s all of them. It’s corruption. It’s corruption and it’s a threat to the future of the Republic. That’s the facts.
