Also, we’re going to hear from John Schlafly delivering the weekly Schlafly report on judicial tyranny, worsening in DC. There’s too much going on. Far too much. Indeed. And John is always very good at being a resource for us breaking stuff down for us, being helpful in helping us understand and see past the primary issues into how it connects to everything. The what you need to know and today’s what you need to know is in fact it may be time that George Soros’s Media Matters may be coming To an end. That’s what you need to know, Attorney General Andrew Bailey from the great state of Missouri, my home state. I’m a little bit biased. It’s OK, though. Has announced a a probe, an investigation into Media Matters and potentially defrauding the public here in Missouri. This is this is pretty big news and it’s not necessarily the 1st. If you’re paying attention to the world around us and what’s going on, you may have seen hints last month something similar happened down in Texas, Ken Paxton, the Attorney general there, who we write quite a bit about. If you follow the John and Andy Schlafly report column. Over at Phyllisschlafly.com, we’ve been talking about Ken Paxton this year. He’s a very bold attorney general who’s done a good bit against government corruption in the Biden administration. He filed suit, or rather, opened a fraud probe into Media Matters. And whether they had violated Texas practices and and organizations code for deceptive. And fraudulent practices and and gathering of money. Well, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey is now on board that train as well. So this is a good thing. They are absolutely barking up the right tree when it comes to pursuing a few different things.
First of all, and this is where a lot of you may have heard this, Elon Musk, let me let me take one angle and then we’ll come back to the other one. I was thinking of cause this kind of connects to a lot of different things here. So that’s why this is important. I think it’s enough to be today’s WYNK. Today’s what you need to know is because we see snippets of this everywhere. It’s a good idea to try to take it all and put it together and understand exactly all the implications. Pardon me, I’m all hopped up on coffee today, so I apologize if I’m stumbling over my words. You’ll bear with me though. We’ll get through. This there’s a lot of connections.
But you may have seen and heard this first from Elon Musk. Elon, the now very famous or infamous, depending on if you’re a leftist or someone who advocates for freedom of speech. Elon Musk, who owns X, formerly Twitter, filed a federal lawsuit. Against Media Matters, this is what made the most headlines. I saw at least the biggest ones. Because he’s accusing this group, which is backed by George Soros, the big baddy, the globalist and chief, at least as far as all the advertisements and fundraising go, because that’s the main person that all of the fundraisers love to hate on. But the George Soros backed Media Matters is being accused of undermining freedom of speech and deceiving advertisers. That’s what Elon Musk is saying.
They were essentially trying to bully advertisers into pulling out of advertising on X on the platform formerly known as Twitter that Elon Musk owns now. Why were they doing this? Well, most of the left is not a big fan of Mr. Musk’s open mindedness. We’ve talked about that quite a bit here on the program. I’ve talked about it over on our unauthorized. Caucus live stream that happens on Thursdays at noon as well. If you’re a watcher there. We have talked. Quite a bit about Elon Musk. Think there’s no necessary. I don’t believe that there is necessarily a misconception that Elon Musk is some sort of super social conservative movement conservative across the board, but he definitely is willing to step outside the mainstream narrative and oppose. That awful narrative machine and especially. Big tech, where he came in and really started speaking truth about what was happening. The connection between Twitter and other places and federal government, and how it was in fact being used, including by federal government to target and silence and censor people. And as he has bought that ship and steered that ship in a different direction.
The left has gone bananas. They are very angry and I’m sure that’s probably not just because one of their major platforms for getting their getting their things done on the Internet and the big. Tech world is now gone, I’m sure also that there are some bodies buried that Elon Musk has access to now, which he’s actually talked quite a bit about it as he has cleaned house, fired people, changed the structure and move forward with a different version of this platform. I’m sure he gets to see a lot of the things that may not. I’m sure there a lot of people from the old days from the. Old days of Twitter that don’t want those things to see the light of day, so he’s definitely a very interesting and intricate position. And sure enough, he’s taking a lot of heat from the left despite again not being some sort of outspoken radical conservative by any means.
But he is speaking the truth.
And if there’s anything we’ve learned about Marxists, they can’t stand the truth about the narrative machine. They can’t stand the truth. You know why? Because the truth lays bare that they’re liars. That’s the truth about it. And that’s the reality. So Media Matters spearheaded a campaign to bully advertisers into pulling out of. X to getting rid of any of their any of their business that they were doing on the former Twitter platform and what Attorney General Andrew Bailey is saying, something similar to what Elon Musk said in his lawsuit, what Ken Paxton is investigating down in Texas. According to Attorney General Andrew Bailey here in Missouri, he says that Media Matters deceptively manipulated the X algorithms in an effort to exaggerate the presence of extremist and harmful content as a part of their campaign that urges advertisers to cut tides with the site. So it really does. Fall under a very interesting section because he’s not necessarily alleging that Media Matters is is evil or not to go away. He’s not alleging that them bullying people off of X is necessarily inherently wrong. What he is saying is. Media Matters is participating. This nonprofit supposedly is participating in blatant political manipulation and lies, and in the process they are ripping off Missourians. They were using falsified, exaggerated and manipulated. Algorithms and data to convince Missourians to give money to this nonprofit so that it could be used to then go and be a marketing campaign toward advertisers to get off of Twitter. So that’s what Andrew Bailey says is yes, radicals are attempting to kill Twitter because they cannot control it, he says. And we are not going to let Missourians get ripped off in the process. So this is a very interesting exercise. Not only is Andrew Bailey standing up and doing the right thing, doing something very good, but Andrew Bailey is actually also staying inside his lane. He is standing up for and protecting his citizens, the citizens of Missouri with who, you know who he is charged.
For taking care of as the chief law enforcement officer in the state, this is a a really interesting thing and and him piling on to Ken Paxton down in Texas doing the same thing, him piling on to Elon Musk’s lawsuit, which I’m sure probably got the most press. Out of all of these things, just because of Elon’s reach, this is a great day. This is potentially a day not only for a a little bit of a reckoning on big tech for big tech to face some accountability and crack open that whole a discussion to be had, which is just a winding maze of issues and connections, but also here we go coming after a nonprofit, so-called nonprofit. Media Matters that has just so blatantly operated in a political manner and gets away with it, and we’ve talked about. Quite a bit this year. We’ve talked about this across the spectrum with the ADL, the Anti Defamation League, SPLC, the ACLU, all of these big groups that hide behind nonprofit supposed social good status are just. Giant left wing fronts for operating a radical Marxist agenda. Guess what? That’s what’s going on. And Andrew Bailey is going to take off a chunk. Ken Paxton’s gonna bite off a chunk that he can deal with. Elon Musk is going after the federal court. This may be a great day of reckon. Because they’re going after big Tech, they’re going after the leftist front, quote UN quote nonprofit organizations. That’s what you need to know today. And I don’t know if all of you have put together all of those pieces. So I wanted to mention them all here. Make sure we drew it all together, but we’re running out of time here in the first segment.
