So with all that under our belts, let me go ahead and say we’ve got a couple of great guests today. We’ve got Ilan Bracha and Joe Allen is going to be a really good show. We’re going to cover a couple of really interesting topics today that I know you will be interested in. Of course, the home market is definitely something all of us are connected to, but AI. AI, AGI as artificial general intelligence. I’m excited to learn what that means, so I’m looking forward to hearing from Mr. Bracha and Mr. Allen today, a couple of really good guests and a couple of really good Topics as always, but.
Before we go any further, we need to dive in to the WYNK, to this first segment where we tell you what you need to know the WYNK, and today is a bit of a doozy. It is recycling, I should say an old topic that has come back up as reports are being released, but it really is an incredible. Window into the future. Of what we are dealing with. What We the people must Fight. So let me lay out to you this way. Here’s. Here’s what you need to know.
Big government is handing out the label terrorist to any citizens who oppose them. You got that right. Big government’s labeling you a terrorist. If you’re in opposition to their agenda, that’s just we. We have nothing left to assume but that. That’s what it is. That’s where we are. That’s what’s happening. And let me tell you why I say that. We talked about this some months ago on the program when it first came out. Actually, it’s been close. Closing in on a year ago now.
When it was first revealed that the Richmond Field office, you may recall of the FBI, had a memo that got leaked, a memo they were circulating that showed their interest in traditional Catholics. I think that was the the, the language, the phrasings. I have to go back and find it. I actually, I have this, the this new report we’re gonna talk about pulled up in front of me. I don’t have the old FBI report, but they were reporting on traditionalist Catholics. And so many millions of Catholic. Americans as potentially or or was it potentially? I think they may have just outright labeled them as as a high potential of being a domestic terrorist. Are you kidding me? What? One of the biggest global religions, the one of the oldest global religions, the a religion that accounts for millions and millions of Americans. What could possibly be more mainstream than the Catholic Church when it comes to? America’s religious institutions, I mean. Really. And yet the FBI is considering, according to this memo that got leaked some time ago here from the Richmond Field Office of the FBI, considers traditional Catholics as a domestic terrorist threat. And they were investigating there in Virginia.
Well, this, as you can imagine, raised some pretty incredible anger and ire from the American public, including a lot of people. Myself included, who aren’t even Catholic. Who said whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait a minute. Wait one minute. That’s no good. We got to talk about this the the FBI, the Department of Justice is labeling traditional Catholics as domestic terrorists or potential domestic terrorists. Come on now.
So of course, hopping right into it, the House subcommittee on the Select Subcommittee, excuse me on weaponization of federal government, this is coming out of the Committee on the Judiciary and the US House of Representatives. They leapt on it and move forward, investigating just what had happened. Looking at this this wide net that’s being cast, categorizing millions of Americans, Catholics, traditional Catholics as domestic terrorists. And they released their report yesterday. I will link to it here and we won’t dive into it because we don’t have forever. And it is a pretty big document. We got about 30 pages here, I believe. Yeah, 30 pages and the the Subcommittee on Weaponization of Federal Government has done an excellent job running down what has happened here. What they have looked into testimony internal documents. All of the things that they have learned along the way and then these errors as they title them errors at every step of the drafting, review, approval and removal process of this memorandum from the FBI, it it of course, you know that’s that’s kind of there we go. That’s the end of the story is that it was in fact pulled they removed this memo. But the fact that it was even out there in public, let alone draft form, this is beyond troubling.
Well, here’s what made the big news today, this this memo comes out yesterday, this memo from the Select Committee on Weaponization comes out yesterday. Today, the Senate had an opportunity to talk about it, and in fact Christopher Wray was in front of the Senate Committee today answering questions on terrorism. In fact, I saw he. He there’s a few articles out. He was in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee talking about the terrorist threats that face the United States today. He was specifically referring to things. Post October 7, the attack in Israel. In fact, what? What was it? The phrase he used, blinking lights everywhere. He testified that there are blinking lights everywhere that they’re seeing with. You know, possible terrorist threats and different things here in the US. That’s a reference, by the way, an analogy about 9/11 that all the lights were blinking red before 9/11. But you know, Lindsey Graham’s asking about the threat matrix that we face and all the things that are happening.
Buth Josh Hawley, God bless Josh Hawley, my senator here from the great state of Missouri took the opportunity to take Christopher Wray to task over this FBI Richmond memo on the Catholic Church and I when I say take to task, I mean Josh Hawley rained down Hellfire upon this bureaucrat in front of the cameras. And, you know, sometimes you can see that these members of committees are are definitely just having their grandiose moment in front of the cameras. Other times you can tell they’re mad, something has made them mad and I am firmly of the opinion that the Anger and frustration that Josh Hawley unleashed, which I we’re gonna link to this video too, because I can’t even do it justice. You you need to see it. So go go to social media, listen on the radio, go to social media at Eagle. Ed Martin, on Twitter. We’re gonna post it there. Go to the show notes proamericareport.com. But you got to see this video. Josh Hawley absolutely unleashed Fury upon Christopher Wray demanding to know what had happened, why people were, or if people were fired over this. And then when Christopher Wray gave a very long answer in in the summation of no. No, Josh, Hawley said Why not? Why not?
And I think that this is probably an excellent example of righteous anger. Righteous indignation. You study politics much. You see that that’s actually a principle that can be used to cross debate. You don’t lose your cool except. And that big except, especially in the world of politics and debate, when something is worthwhile over. I tell you what I think that Josh Hawley’s anger unleashed at Christopher Wray today in, in the Senate Judiciary Committee. Over this, this FBI memo out of Richmond on on Catholics, traditional Catholics in America being domestic terrorists, I think that this righteous indignation and fury is absolutely representative of the vast majority of Americans who would say to this memo, hold on, wait a minute, pump the brakes. You are labeling my friends and family and neighbors, these people who exercise their free right to to, to worship God as they see fit. This huge population section of the United States, you’re labeling them because of that belief, potentially domestic terrorists? Come on now. Come on now.
It is absolutely shocking. And the deeper you go into it, the more shocking it becomes that this is something coming out of our federal government.
And people aren’t raising hell over it. I think it’s time for that and I think that Josh Hawley’s response is not over the top. I think that it’s indicative of the moment that we are in in America and what our response needs to be.
We need to respond with the righteous indignation, the righteous fury and the wrath of We the People we the citizens, to hold this government accountable and bring it back into check. The administrative state is run amok. And it is just proof that through their bureaucratic minions big government is going to make moves now. They are making moves now to label people who would be pro freedom and anti statist, anti authoritarian to label them as terrorists to move forward to a place where they can rid society of our independence from big government. That’s what they’re doing. That’s what you need to know. I think it’s important. It is a moment that we are in and you need to go and watch this video and then go and take a look at the report from the House subcommittee yesterday. It’s worth your time. That’s what you need to know.
