Democrats Run Political Theater, Boycott Their Committee Jobs
Washington, D.C.: This morning, the Senate Judiciary Committee voted favorably to send Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Senate floor for a confirmation vote. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell promised to take up the measure for debate tomorrow and vote her through in a timely manner.
“Judge Barrett is one of the most intelligent and eminently qualified jurists of our lifetime,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “We look forward to the Senate debate as well as her being seated on the High Court. As far as the Democrats are concerned, I wish their shameful political theater looked like this more often. America is a better place without their fearmongering and socialist rantings.
