St. Louis, MO: Yesterday the Senate confirmed judicial nominee Sarah Pitlyk as the U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District of Missouri. She survived a political assault from the supposedly “non-partisan” American Bar Association and was confirmed yesterday on a party-line vote.
“Sarah is extraordinarily qualified to serve as an excellent, constructionist judge on the federal bench,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Her contentious confirmation proves how severely entrenched The Swamp is in fighting pro-family, pro-America values. The American Bar Association should be ashamed for their blatant political maneuvering — Sarah Pitlyk has a stellar judicial pedigree. She will serve Missouri and the Federal Courts with integrity.
“While her party-line confirmation is a sad reminder of the polarized political division in Washington, D.C., her ultimate confirmation is a great victory. This win is another reminder of the amazing impact of Trump’s pro America policies on our judiciary.”
