Washington, D.C.: “Project Veritas has a habit of getting leftists to boldly admit their schemes, but the latest on-camera exposé may just take the cake,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles.
Veritas journalists got a wealth of on-camera admissions from Cos Cob Elementary School Asst. Principal Jeremy Boland in Greenwich, CT, that may knock the socks of those who say there’s no bias in our public schools. Boland admitted to a host of “subtle” (his word) ways he uses interviews to weed out those with “old-fashioned” [read: religious or conservative] beliefs about kids, parents, and education.
“This assistant principal has admitted, on-camera, to a host of religious and political discrimination that is specifically prohibited by his Connecticut state law,” Martin continued. “Not only did he trash anyone who thinks parents ought to be in charge of kids and their upbringing, but he slandered Catholics and other religious factions by name. His words were disgusting and worthy not only of punishment but of firing and being never again considered for any educational work.
“The sad reality, though, is that Assistant Principal Boland is not alone in his beliefs and actions. In fact, he’s likely in the majority of younger folks coming in to the educational field. Make no mistake, there is a deliberate and overwhelming assault happening right now against our children and their schools. It has been happening for decades, and the product of their work is wreaking havoc on our society right now.”
Martin concluded, “Good for Project Veritas in never shying from pursuing or publishing the truth! We must challenge this bloated, blatantly political bureaucracy that is swallowing up the institutions of American education. It’s time to clean house and start over!”
