Washington, D.C.: This evening, Phyllis Schlafly Eagles will host an Open House from 5-7 p.m at the Phyllis Schlafly Center in Washington, D.C. to discuss patent law, invention, and intellectual property. This event is open to Capitol Hill staffers, leaders, and activists.
Three members of Congress will make remarks at the event: Rep. Thomas Massie (KY-4), inventor and patent owner; Rep. Andy Biggs (AZ-5), member of the Courts, Intellectual Property, and the Internet Subcommittee; and Rep. Paul Gosar (AZ-4), founder and co-chairman of the Congressional Inventions Caucus.
“We are excited to host this event today and to hear from members of Congress who understand the importance of intellectual property and protecting patent holders and inventors” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Each of these members play a key role in protecting America’s system of invention so our country will remain prosperous.”
All guests in attendance at the open house will receive a free copy of Phyllis Schlafly Speaks Volume 4: Patents & Invention. For more information about this event, contact Joanna Spilger at Joanna@phyllisschlafly.com.
