President Trump is restoring the American judiciary.
Washington, D.C.: Late last night Justice Clarence Thomas administered the oath of office to Amy Coney Barrett and became the first to congratulate the newest Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court.
“The Trump administration saw the Senate confirmation last night to swift completion,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “At a White House ceremony, Justice Barrett was sworn in to her new post on the nation’s highest court. She will be a brilliant jurist, faithful to the Constitution, and trusted by the people. This is a huge win for the American people and a huge promise kept by President Trump.
“President Trump promised to appoint judges to the federal bench who respect our God-given rights and uphold the Constitution — not who legislate from the bench on their own preferences. He has delivered time and again — now a third time to the U.S. Supreme Court. President Trump has kept his promises.”
