Washington, D.C.: Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has announced his resistance to calling a special session of the GA state legislature in response to election fraud and transparency.
“Today we sent Gov. Kemp a letter imploring him to call a special session and respect the integrity of every Georgia voter,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Election irregularities in Georgia are concerning to voters across the state and the nation. Election officials’ improper behavior in just a few counties can drastically alter the whole state and even move a national election. It’s highly appropriate and constitutionally necessary to initiate a statewide response. Gov. Kemp’s best action is to call a special legislative session to focus on the election irregularities.”
