SCOTUS Should Release the Decision & Stop Political Attempts To Control Proceedings
Washington, D.C.: “We cannot allow a disgruntled government worker to take the power of our judicial branch into their own hands,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “The leak of the Dobbs opinion draft is a blatant attempt to influence, damage, or muddy the waters around a landmark Supreme Court decision.
“The justices ought to punch back swiftly against this manipulation! Get it out! Publish the decision now and take away the power of interlopers to stoke political crisis and change the outcome. Chief Justice Roberts released a strong statement today in response, and releasing the decision now would allow the High Court to move on with its business and stop this attempted political pressure. Get it out!”
