‘Scary Poppins’ Leeches Off Taxpayers While Promoting A Nanny State
Washington, D.C.: “There was no ‘spoonful of sugar’ big enough to placate the American people when they were presented with ‘Scary Poppins’ as the director of the Biden Administration’s new Disinformation Governance Board,” said Phyllis Schlafly Eagles president Ed Martin. “Most were rightly relieved when Nina Jankowicz announced her resignation from the fledgling ‘Ministry of Truth.’ Yet, taxpayers will be shocked to hear that Scary Poppins’ resignation from the Disinformation Board does not mean that their hard-earned tuppence won’t be used to further her left-wing antics.”
A new report from The National Pulse reveals that Jankowicz’s firm continues to receive government funding through the Air Force’s AFWERX Small Business Innovation Research initiative. These grants are to be used to help the Air Force combat the spread of disinformation, which sounds eerily similar to the stated goal of the Disinformation Governance Board.
“Americans are tired of playing this shell game with the federal government,” Martin concluded. “We soundly rejected Nina Jankowicz and her calls for increased censorship. The Biden Administration should take the hint and defund Jankowicz completely. Phyllis Schlafly Eagles has always defied the idea of a nanny state, and evicting Scary Poppins from the public dole is the right thing to do.
