What You Need to Know is the contrast of Biden V. Lincoln on this Day of Prayer. If you read President Joe Biden’s Proclamation on the National Day of Prayer it doesn’t include the word, God. Yes. Biden didn’t write this proclamation himself but his speechwriters are supposed to write in his voice. It’s such a contrast from President Lincoln. Lincoln’s proclamation appointed a national day of fasting and praying. We should care about what our presidents have to say about prayer! When you see the contrast of these proclamations it’s almost as if they come from two different cultures. Words, or lack of words matter, and most importantly, God’s word matters! It’s interesting to see what Biden’s words, or lack of words, are saying about him.
