Washington, D.C.: This week, Ed Martin and the Catholic Coalition Against Religious Tests for Office publicly called on the District of Columbia Archbishop Wilton Gregory to address the growing problem among Democrats with Catholics and religious liberty.
“Our Catholic Coalition asked Archbishop Gregory to address the specific problems growing between Democrat Party leadership and the Catholic faith,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “It is clear that one of our major political parties is targeting Catholics. Faithful Catholics are watching, and, frankly, all Americans are watching to see if Catholic leaders will take this time to stand up for our religious convictions.”
