Dobbs Opinion Draft Leak Is Blatant Political Attack Against Institution
Washington, D.C.: “While the early draft of the Dobbs decision may excite pro-lifers, the leak itself is a shocking breach of the procedures of the Supreme Court,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “This is a full-on political attack meant to destroy the integrity of the court. The left’s failed attempts to compromise and remove Justice Clarence Thomas have now devolved into fueling a full-on crisis.
“There are many paths forward and much information to sift through, but the clearest call to action is this: they must find who leaked this document. We can only assume this individual’s goal is to damage the institution so central to our sacred republic. Our organization will continue to analyze the information today as it comes out, but let conservatives have one rallying cry: we must defend the integrity of the court from political sabotage.”
