Welcome welcome, Ed Martin here on the Pro America Report. Hey, over at PhyllisSchlafly.com you will find a List of every single of the 20, the freedom 20. They’re calling them. The people who stood up to the speaker fight last week and got a lot of grief. And I posted that over there so that you can go ahead and do what I invited you to do, which is to thank them.
Thank them and the way to do that is to take a minute. It’ll probably take, I’d say it takes 3 to 5 minutes per person, so you’re talking about, you gotta do it over a couple of days. Three, let’s say it’s 5 minutes per person times 20, 100 minutes. It’s a couple hours, almost 2 hours, but you need to do it. You need to thank the 20 by calling the number. I’ve got the numbers there and say thank you, leave your name. It doesn’t matter if you’re from, where you’re from.

Ralph Norman of South Carolina, Andy Ogles of Tennessee, Scott Perry of Pennsylvania. Matt Rosendale of Montana, Chip Roy of Texas, Keith Self of Texas. Call them and thank them. It’s important for us to thank folks for what they did to make sure that they know that it’s that important to do that, that it’s that important to us. It does not matter as I’ve said over and over.
What you need to know is Speaker McCarthy is the first digital speaker, meaning he is speaker because there was able to be this public display this public hashing out, and the 20 folks that stood up and said I want it to be a better process. I want it to be a better system. I want things to work better. They were only able to do that and succeed because there was the digital possibilities. There were social media. There was e-mail, there was cable TV.
It was a different world in the old days and this happened this time in the old days you get a couple of phone calls from Grand Poobahs and the Republican Party – donor types, leader types. And you just realize how it’s better to, you know, walk away now and cut a deal later.
Now these guys and gals were emboldened because they weren’t beholden to any of those poobahs. Think about that. That’s pretty good. The the freedom 20 were emboldened instead of beholden. To the poobahs. They were emboldened by the grassroots. Instead of being beholden to the grass tops. That’s the difference maker here, and it had to do with social media. It had to do with C-SPAN being on the ground. It was awesome. It was awesome and so congratulations to the 20.
And you and me. We all need to take the time to send a message to say thank you. That’s only going to happen by taking the time and and literally making the phone calls. If you’ve got e-mail address, that’s fine, but I can tell you a phone call. What you do is call up, call the numbers. I got the numbers right there. Call up and say, hey, Congressman Andy Biggs, just wanna say this is Ed Martin. I wanna thank you for what you’re doing. I live in Missouri, but I love what you did. I’m gonna spread the word you’re great, thank you and here’s my phone number. Here’s my snail mail address and here’s my e-mail address. And when you do that, they’re going to get data on you which they love and you shouldn’t care. You should want them to have that, because they’ve earned. They’ve earned it. They deserve it, they they’ve earned it. They deserve it and give it up.
Because, because of us because of you because of your phone calls, they will be emboldened to do the right thing. The fight’s not over because they’re not beholden to the poobahs, they’re not beholden to the money guys, they’re not beholden to the RNC, they’re not beholden to the Republican leaders in their home state, the insiders, the establishment, they’re not beholden to any of the poobahs. They’re emboldened by the grassroots. They’re not, they’re not beholden to the grass tops. They’re emboldened by the grassroots. So that’s something you and I can do and we have to do it. We have to do it because it makes a big difference. It will make a bigger difference and it’s what’s going on, so the Freedom 20, the Freedom 20 you wanna get on there and say thank you to them and their list. It is great.
