Warren: Resource Centers/Ministries “Torture” Pregnant People
Washington, D.C.: “If you need any more proof that the Democrats don’t care about choice at all, look no further than Senator Elizabeth Warren’s latest angry tirades,” said Ed Martin, President of the Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Senator Warren and Sen. Bob Menendez have introduced a new bill that would target pregnancy resource centers. In fact, she’s gone so far as to angrily rant about the so-called atrocities these resource centers are committing against pregnant women!
The Stop Anti-Abortion Disinformation Act, or SAD Act, seeks to direct the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to prohibit disinformation regarding abortion services. Democrats claim this bill would simply prevent pregnancy resource centers from claiming they provide abortions when they do not, but Senator Warren angrily revealed their true intention. “We need to shut them down,” Warren fumed in an interview regarding pregnancy resource centers. “You should not be able to torture a pregnant person like that,” she concluded.
Martin continued, “Although deranged and confusing, Warren’s screed makes it quite clear that the abortion fight isn’t about helping women or about freedom of choice. The SAD Act, which is sad indeed, tells us everything we need to know. The so-called ‘pro-choice’ crowd is only afraid that a woman might choose to keep her child and organizations will stand in the gap with her to support her medically, emotionally, and financially.
“They don’t care if a young woman sincerely wants to give birth and needs help, they would rather she kill the child. There’s only one word for that: evil. It’s time to cut off the abortion industry at its knees, along with those leftist politicians who fund it.”
