Washington, D.C.: Attorney General Barr finished his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee a short while ago. Questioning from the committee members and statements by Barr leave two things very clear. First, Democrats are on a ruthless partisan, political mission to attack President Trump and anyone connected with him, regardless of truth. Second, this political agenda obviously extends to the executive bureaucracy — including the Department of Justice.
“Several Senators, including Josh Hawley, Lindsey Graham, Marsha Blackburn, and others indicated theirs and their constituents’ support for Attorney General Barr’s investigation into political activity and corruption in the Justice Department,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Records have made it abundantly clear that from Peter Strzok’s texts to the Russian Dossier, the deep state has worked against the incoming Trump administration at nearly every turn.
