Washington, D.C.: Senator Rand Paul has introduced S. 4432, the Support Children Having Open Opportunities for Learning (SCHOOL) Act. This legislation would provide parents with better choices and flexibility for their child’s K-12 education.
“Swamp bureaucrats and politicians are quick to throw more money into education,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Sen. Rand Paul understands that rather than blindly throwing more money at a broken system, we should be taking steps to fix it. Putting parents back into the driver’s seat of their child’s education and future is the best thing for our schools and our kids. His newly introduced SCHOOL Act will do just that — putting parents’ tax dollars toward education under their control to make the decisions that best fit their family’s needs. We need more problem solving women and men like Sen. Paul who know the value of finding real solutions to real problems in education.”
