Democrats forced on record to support infanticide.
Washington, D.C.: Representative Ann Wagner and GOP Whip Steve Scalise organized a legislative maneuver today forcing a floor vote on the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which was just passed out of the Senate. The full roll call vote can be found here [roll call is labeled as “Youth Tobacco” because of timing of Wagner’s motion].
“Time and again, Nancy Pelosi and her Democrat House majority have refused to bring the Born-Alive Protection Act to the floor for a vote,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Rep. Ann Wagner, the bill’s sponsor, spearheaded a motion to recommit this morning on the House floor, forcing a roll call vote. Her leadership along with GOP Whip Steve Scalise has given us a defining moment for 2020: House Democrats were forced to put their ‘yes’ or ‘no’ next to infanticide.
“We are so grateful for this extraordinary strategy and for Rep. Wagner’s and Whip Scalise’s commitment to defending life and demanding the voices of our representatives be counted!”
The full roll call vote can be found here. Watch Rep. Wagner’s speech on the floor here.
