Washington, D.C.: The House Judiciary Committee began the next phase of the impeachment sham against President Trump this morning.
“For their first hearing trick, Judiciary Chairman Nadler has called obscure law professors as witnesses to talk about the impeachment process and its necessity,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Most of what these lawyers succeeded in today is spewing bias and dislike of President Trump. Several of today’s witnesses have long paper trails of anti-Trump sentiment. The American People are still waiting, however, to hear any shred of evidence against President Trump.
“Only one witness delivered testimony advising against this impeachment sham, labeling it frivolous and dangerous in precedent. This witness was promptly ignored by Democrat Committee Members and staff.
“Today is yet another disgrace for Congress. Democrats will stop at nothing to undo the results of the 2016 election. If they can’t do that, they’ll gladly settle for influencing the 2020 elections in their favor. Congress should get back to the work of the People’s House and leave behind impeachment sham dreams.”
