New Year, New Leftist Strategies To Vilify Political Adversaries
Washington, D.C.: “Radical leftists are beating the political war drum of insurrection with renewed vigor in 2022, but it’s obvious they learned very little from the 2021 Virginia elections,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “They are using every opportunity to turn neighbor against neighbor, make suspicious certain political leanings of American citizens, and even shame and silence parents from speaking up about their children’s education. They are fighting a war to impose groupthink on us, saying the same lies over and over again to inundate people into acceptance. We can’t let them get away with it!”
At a University of Chicago symposium on the anniversary of the so-called January 6 ‘insurrection,’ Andrew McCabe took the opportunity to reinforce the narrative that political conservatives are essentially the same as Islamic terrorists.
“According to the disgraced former FBI deputy director,” Martin continued, “your friends and family who are concerned about the state of our economy or our schools are, quite obviously, radicalized domestic terrorists! Of course, this drivel is utterly ridiculous, but it’s terrifying that the propaganda machine is so loud and constant on this supposed domestic terrorism drumbeat. They are constantly calling to turn political enemies into literal enemies. Time to give extra government surveillance to those dangerous conservatives, especially if they go to school board meetings to speak up about their children!”
“Another new tactic of the left is to not just cheat in elections but cheat before them!” Martin concluded. “A group has brought the first of many efforts now to remove Republicans on the ballot because of their supposed status as ‘insurrectionists’! The test case has just started against Rep. Madison Cawthorn in the 13th District of North Carolina. A group has filed a case with the election authority invoking the 14th Amendment to have Cawthorn removed from the ballot. It’s absolute silliness, but this is the latest groupthink strategy — and the media and so-called experts will say it over and over and over again until people believe it or just give in.
