Washington, D.C.: Late last week, record low unemployment numbers coupled with a new Gallup Poll high for President Trump. This robust news was predictably followed by a weak attempt by Congressional Democrats to distract and divide the American people.
“On the heels of yet another great economic report, Democrats just won’t let the Mueller report die,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Democratic leadership and the House Judiciary Committee are trying to drag the Attorney General before them yet again to harangue him for doing his job. AG Barr is right to move the American people forward by exercising independent discretion on this matter.
“The Mueller report is closed — there was no collusion and no obstruction. It’s time for Democrats to get on to the business of governing, as the White House is (successfully) doing!”
