Congress Must Untangle and Undo the Mess That’s Been Made
Washington, D.C.: Congressman Thomas Massie (KY-4) delivered series of Tweets and replies this weekend that pull back the curtain on releasing America from the continued grip of Covid tyranny. From his tweets and replies to accounts both famous and unknown, Massie not only nodded to upcoming votes, but loaded up questioners with answers on what bureaucratic level they should turn to for the fight to end mandates and restrictions.
“The House will vote this week to end vaccine mandates on healthcare workers,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “We need every Democrat with a streak of independence and common sense to join Republicans in this vote and give it the best chance for passage in the Senate.”
Martin continued, “Thanks to leaders like Tom Massie, voters have a source they can turn to for what to do about the Covid policy nightmare many of our industries still face. Education restrictions? Turn to your university and school leaders — but know that Congress must vote to end the the ‘national Covid emergency’ status, which many of the schools are supposedly basing their decisions on.
“What about mandates on incoming travelers? Massie says there’s a bill for that! If all public officials were as transparent and responsive on their social media accounts, we might not have the voter confidence issues and massive disapproval ratings that exist now. It’s about time the People’s House had new leadership and got back to real solutions. Keep going and don’t stop!”
“Likewise for We the People,” Martin concluded, “we must call our elected representatives and turn up the heat! Not only do our advocates need to hear our thanks and praise, but the ones who need a nudge in the right direction must not hear our voices cease. Emails, phone calls, and letters in massive amounts really can shift the political game and we cannot lose steam in telling our representatives what we want them to do!”
