13 Republicans Betrayed Their Party, Provided Cover for AOC and Squad
Washington, D.C.: “The $1.2 trillion so-called ‘infrastructure’ bill passed last week puts the worst of the swamp on display,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “The more we pore over this behemoth, the clearer it becomes that this spending bill is nothing more than a laundry list of pork and special interest spending. This is how the swamp works! Everyone who votes for these bills walks away with something. It’s shameful that thirteen so-called Republicans played footsie with the swamp rather than stand up for their constituents.
“On this vote, thirteen Republicans betrayed their party values, allowing Nancy Pelosi to shove through this left wing lunacy. Those votes were not only enough to ensure the bill’s passage, but the surplus ‘yes’ votes gave cover to AOC and the Squad to vote no!”
Martin concluded, “Most of these Congressmen are in red-leaning districts. Conservatives need to get to work now! We must primary each and every one of the 13 RINOs that betrayed their caucus and sold out to Pelosi’s agenda. There is no place in the Republican Party for swamp creatures who enable a Marxist agenda.”
