St. Louis, MO: Earlier this morning, noted anti-Trump New York Times columnist David Brooks delivered a shocking criticism of House Democrats and Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler in particular. Brooks began with obligatory Trump bashing but quickly moved to an astoundingly honest point foreign to the pages of this bastion of fake news.
“Democrats crossed [a line] this week, undermining the way the system of oversight is supposed to work,” said Brooks in his column, “The Tawdry Trump-Nadler War.” “This constitutional crisis is just for show.”
Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles, commented: “Even liberals know Congressional Democrats are way out of line — both in process and in public opinion. Nancy Pelosi, Jerry Nadler, and their cronies are so committed to bashing the president that they can’t see they are losing the public opinion battle.
“Americans know the economy is working for them. They will support the leaders making our nation stronger, safer, more prosperous, and more free. Democratic policies (on the rare occasions they appear) actually damage the things that matter most to Americans.”
