Federal Government Is Using January 6 to Abuse We the People
Washington, D.C.: “Attorney General Merrick Garland’s contentious hearing before the House Judiciary Committee last week made abundantly clear that the weight of federal power is being used to lie to We the People,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles.
“Merrick Garland refused to answer straightforward evidence-based questions regarding FBI involvement at the January 6 Capitol events,” Martin continued. “Honest Members of Congress absolutely must push this subject until we have answers. Innocent American lives are being destroyed over this day, while federal employees play coy with their answers under oath.
“We the People deserve accountability and transparency from our leaders. What we’re getting instead about January 6 is lies and silence. We’re watching the lengths Big Government will go to in order to hide their actions. There is no moving on from these historic events at the Capitol until we get to the bottom of what has happened! Stop this abuse of the system, abuse of the media, and abuse of the American Republic.”
