Dangerous IRS Budget Can’t Overshadow EPA’s Gains in “Inflation Reduction Act”
Washington, D.C.: “The so-called ‘Inflation Reduction Act’ is giving a boost to more executive agencies than just the IRS,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “The Environmental Protection Agency is receiving a $40 billion boost this year to supposedly fight climate change, enforce environmental standards, and secure ‘environmental justice.’
“The EPA is the tip of the spear for the left’s war against our American energy market, making this budget boost as much of a concern for the working American as is 87,000 new armed tax agents. The tentacles of our corrupt administrative state are slowly being fed and grown by our feckless Congress. We need a change, and not just a change of party!
“A new conservative majority is needed to bring checks and balances to bear on the bloated executive branch! The Biden Administration is printing money at will to fund ridiculous, wasteful, and outright destructive measures (look no further than seeking justice for a non-human entity), and there’s no way our nation can sustain it. The new conservative Congress must take action immediately, not only to prosecute corruption but to slash the budgets or whole departments of our monstrous executive branch.”
