28 Total House Dems Now Declined To Seek Reelection
Washington, D.C.: “I’ve preached for years now that political polls mean almost nothing at this point,” said Phyllis Schlafly Eagles President Ed Martin. “One might be able to identify trends, but polls hold little value to those seeking electoral results. With that said, Biden’s poll numbers are absolutely terrifying for Democrats, and the trend is going nowhere good. On top of his already abysmal numbers with independents and across the board, now 50% of voters are saying they rate his first year as ‘very unsuccessful.’
“You might think this polling blues spells disaster for the left in the 2022 midterm elections, but a far more telling political barometer is the now-28-strong list of House Democrats who have announced they won’t seek reelection this year. Leftwing media can try to spin it any way they want, but the fact is this looks like Democrats know it’s a good time to quit while they’re ahead. From Biden’s blunders to Congress’s colossal failure to deliver the agenda of the left — it’s clear that the political trends bode well for America and very bad for the radical left.”
