Our CCP Enemy Has Shifted To Digital Strategy for Destruction of Our Youth
Washington, D.C.: “Bans against TikTok are sweeping across both public and private entities, but America needs to realize the far more nefarious threat behind the China-owned social media giant,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “We must face the reality that TikTok isn’t merely a risk to our data privacy. Communist China’s TikTok is a coordinated effort to cripple our future generations and destroy America from the inside out.”
Julie Jargon in the Wall Street Journal dives into the data from new studies that show astounding statistics related to young Americans’ use of TikTok. The app’s algorithm quite literally steers teenage accounts to content about self harm, suicide, eating disorders, and body image. TikTok claims to commit huge time and manpower to removing such content, but the proof is in the algorithms.
“We all know two very significant facts,” Martin continued. “The security and data risk from China-owned TikTok is immense, and the algorithm-fueled power of persuasion on social media is devastating for our young men and women. What America needs to connect is that these two facts coinciding in TikTok is no accident.
“Long ago, Red China shifted their warfare against America from military to economic fronts. There is no doubt in my mind that we are watching the evidence of their new frontline against our nation: rotting our future generations from within. What better way to destroy a nation than to subvert its young people with self-imposed illness, harm, and sterilization? What better way to distract one’s enemy than to radicalize one faction and distract with internal division?”
Author Gordon G. Chang, a primary voice warning of the CCP’s aggression, hits the nail on the head: “China’s regime is determined to start a war. So pray that God intervenes because the leader of the free world is not standing in the way of the destruction that is about to occur.” His book The Great U.S.-China Tech War covers this topic in depth.
Martin concluded, “China is using age-old tactics in the digital frontier. Americans must wake up quickly and realize that we are losing this digital culture war with China. It’s time to remove the Communist’s digital pathogen from America. It’s time for serious movement toward banning TikTok.”
