Washington, D.C.: The legislative branch is lacking in true statesmen. Congressman Andy Biggs of Arizona, however, is a stalwart statesman who dignifies the office of U.S. Representative.
“Congressman Biggs introduced a motion to condemn and censure House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff. Every member of the House should sign on to his resolution,” said Ed Martin, President of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Chairman Schiff blatantly misrepresented President Trump’s phone conversation with the Ukranian president during a House Intelligence Hearing. This is particularly foul considering the transcript of that conversation is widely public.
“Congressman Biggs is a favorite of our Eagles because of his dedication to the Constitution and to our republic – not just a political party. As Congressman Biggs points out, impeachment is a serious tool and solemn responsibility of the legislative branch. Democrats are abusing it for a political hit job. I urge all Representatives of every party to sign on to this resolution. Protect the integrity of the House and get to real work for your constituents. Refuse to be a part of the smoke and mirrors abuse of legislative powers!”
