Missouri Defending Pro-Life Law Today In Oral Arguments
Washington, D.C.: “The full Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals is hearing oral arguments today on Missouri’s protections of unborn life,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Planned Parenthood and abortion forces have been on the offensive ever since the Missouri General Assembly passed this fantastic set of protections for the right to life in 2019. Now it’s up to Attorney General Eric Schmitt’s office to defend our law and see it upheld.
“Missouri Solicitor D. John Sauer is arguing today before the Eighth Circuit and we wish him all success and blessings in his defense of our first and foundational right to live! I hope and pray as well that the judges of the Eighth Circuit apply the correct constitutional lens to today’s arguments and see that American lives are protected.”
